FALL PADDLING

Cam Fielding and I spent Saturday paddling the Deas Slough in Ladner. It was windy, but the Slough is sheltered so we didn't notice it much.

We saw a surprising amount of wildlife including: Eagles, Ducks, a Kingfisher, Herons, Salmon, and River Otters. We eventually stopped for a meal at the River House Pub/Marina, where we ate Oysters and drank beer.

It was a fantastic day. Thanks Cam !
