The Paralympics will have their opening ceremony on March 12th, but the Olympic games have now officially ended. Wow ! What a huge success ! Canada performed so well. Natsuko and I have never got this emotional about sports or the Olympic games. All of the lower mainland has been in such a positive mood for the past two weeks. It's been one gigantic party that nobody wants to end.
Sadly, this weekend was the last weekend for the HOLLAND HEINEKEN HOUSE. We had so much fun there that I'm really sad to see it go (especially the dutch mayo). Natsuko and I told one of the dutch staff members at Heineken House that we now want to visit Holland. She told us that Holland is much better than the Heineken House, and the beer is cheaper :)
Well we've got our tickets for the Paralympics Opening Ceremony, and once again Natsuko and I will be cheering for Canada and Japan. I'll post some photos once we've got them.
