I recently purchased the game MASS EFFECT for the XBOX 360. It's made by a Canadian company called Bioware (the same company that created KNIGHTS OF THE OLD REPUBLIC, which is the greatest star wars game ever made).
Having now completed MASS EFFECT, I can honestly say that THIS is probably the best game I've ever played. The universe your character exists in is HUGE, and the story is epic. You're faced with a lot of tough decisions to make while playing the game. I'm told that Bioware is planning to make two more MASS EFFECT games. Hopefully the choices you made in this first installment will affect the sequels.
I have no complaints about this game. It's just fun.
Before your MASS EFFECT adventure begins you get the opportunity to use a generic stock character, or make your own. Of course I made my own ! I spent almost 30 minutes trying to get BEADLE SHEPARD to look like me, but in the end I think he looked more like my brother in law. Oh well. That's BEADLE SHEPARD in the pic below.
Do yourself a favor and pick up this game asap Soldier ! Action, Adventure, and even a bit of sex (I'm not kidding!). MASS EFFECT 2 can't come soon enough. Thank you Bioware for this amazing game !

Well you've convinced me kind sir!!! if it's ever released for the PC, I'll definitely pick it up and make myself a Shepard of my own!
