THOMY

What a surprise to receive a package in the mail from Germany this week ! At first glance I didn't see the return address and assumed my good friend Johnny Darrell was up to his usual hijinx again ! But as it turned out this was my good friend FRED FASSE sending me gifts from Deutschland !

Fred is an amazing guy. He truly has a heart of gold. I first met him about 8 years ago, and we've been friends ever since. Fred left Vancouver two years back, and moved to Germany to live and work. His father was born and raised in Germany, and as long as I've known Fred he's always talked about moving there one day. Fred picked up the language very quickly and based on the video he sent, he seems to be really enjoying German life (thanks for the dvd Fred!).

Fred I'd like you to know that the Mustard flavored toothpaste you sent is a bit odd, but thanks a lot ! I had no idea German people prefer the taste of mustard toothpaste over mint toothpaste. I must admit, I'm not a big fan of the tangy after taste... especially right before I go to bed... but thanks for giving me the opportunity to experience this unique German custom.

your pal,
Beadle

Hate to break it to you but it is not really supposed to be used as toothpaste.

LOL. Love the post.

Mustard in a Tube, almost as good as Chicken in a Can!
