It was a very cold and wet 5k run this morning. However, I was able to complete the course without stopping once. This is a big accomplishment for me, because the last time I was able to do that I was 21 years old. I still had a slow finish time of 31.47 minutes. My father completed the course in an amazing 23.52 minutes ! Way to go Dad ! I've got a lot more running to do if I ever hope to keep up with him.
Natsuko was entered to run in this event, but unfortunately she came down with a bad chest cold and was up all night coughing. She REALLY wanted to run, but at the last minute she made the right decision and decided it would be a bad idea.
