We completed the Grouse Grind again this morning (third time now!!). It was as hard as ever, but our time is improving. We finished in 1hr 24mins. The deer we spotted a few weeks back was at the top again, but this time it was with a fawn. Unfortunately I didn't get a photo. We did however get lucky and see all the wolves in action ! The wolves in the Grouse Mountain habitat are all retired hollywood animals. I'm not sure what films exactly they appeared in. I don't think imdb.com has a listing for animals (but they totally should).
The highlight of the hike today was seeing and hearing the wolves. Check out the video we got of them hoooOOOOOoooowling !

That video of the wolves howling is very cool. I did not the history of the animals, I had assumed they were wild wolves who had been injured or rescued in some way. Very interesting.
