SUNSHINE COAST

We spent part of our weekend visiting some friends and exploring the Sunshine Coast. Believe it or not, this was our first time to take the ferry over to Gibsons together. We drove up through Sechelt and got as far as Madeira Park.

After a fabulous lunch with Sandra and Eric, we all went for a hike through Francis Point Provincial Park. Francis Point was off limits to the public until 2001. There is large amounts of Reindeer Moss in the park, which cover a lot of the the rocky trails. The main trail through the park takes you right along the water where were able to see stones covered in starfish.

We would liked to have had more time to explore, but now we have good reason to return to the Sunshine Coast.

Check out the photos and videos from our trip HERE.

your pal,
Beadle

Great photos. Looks like a great time. I have never been there but have always wanted to go.
